Recently, Global Finance named the annual awards for the World’s Best Banks in 2017. ICBC was elected again as the World’s Best Emerging Markets Bank for its satisfactory performance and contribution to the emerging markets, making it the first Chinese commercial bank to defend the title.

In addition, ICBC was granted the Best Bank in Asia-Pacific for the first time and the Best Bank in China for the 11th time. ICBC also defended itself as the Best Corporate Digital Bank in China and the Best Consumer Digital Bank in China under the 2017 World’s Best Consumer Digital Banks Awards in Asia-Pacific.
